Constraints
Must work on real pages, in two browsers, with a free tier and Pro licensing. This showcase uses the official popup, not a redesigned clone.
Decisions
Extension for the player, SystemaWeb for content and Stripe. One Pro license across Chrome and Firefox. Per-site memory instead of one global preset.
Outcome
Live on Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. Speed 0.1×–16×, volume up to 600%, templates, captions, per-site preferences.
What I’d change
Publish a short public architecture note of the extension/web split so reviewers can see the system without installing it first.
